The second event in the Meet the Makers series showcased five artisans whose diverse techniques are deeply connected to the fashion industry. Their approach to fashion is elegant, precise, and sustainable, with a mindful selection of raw materials. While rooted in tradition, their work also embraces experimentation.

Attendees met Alberto Bevilacqua and Gloria D’Este of Tessitura Bevilacqua, Gabriele Gmeiner, Giuliana Longo, Alessandra Micolucci, and Lucia Costantini—each with unique stories and specializations, yet all united by a shared passion for craftsmanship.

The event concluded with a discussion led by architect, professor, and designer Marco Zito, alongside the collective Fucina Frammenti. Together, they engaged artisans and contemporary designers in a thought-provoking dialogue on the intersection of tradition and modern design.
