The Bautta is one of the most iconic masks of Venetian tradition, worn by the aristocracy, both male and female, during the 17th and 18th centuries. Boldrin’s version adds a distinctive element: the tricorn hat, a creative touch that brings additional personality to this classic mask. This Bautta also gained recognition for its appearance in one of the most evocative scenes of Stanley Kubrick’s film Eyes Wide Shut.
